Let’s clear up any misunderstanding that may arise from the title of this screening: its content is neither naughty nor haughty, and far be it from us to even think of preaching, pompously or otherwise, any postulate whatsoever inherent to the field of Biology or to any biological function therewithin for that matter. For our purposes, exploration (however penetrative) lays bare the utmost sordid and reprehensible ordeals traversed by Humankind. Couples, families, parenthood and sibling rivalry are but a few of the shrouded sites gushing more often with nothing sweet than with sweet nothings. "It takes a very steady hand" when it comes to conjuring up such anatomic gems, and the Operational masterminds behind them did not wince once. The ingredients of these everyday realms make for meandering and mealymouthed scenes sprinkled with agony, grief and nightmares. In true culinarian style, balance is key, and these cinematographic sages have a knack for adding just the right amount of humor, albeit slightly twisted, to satisfy every soft spot. It’s dig-in time!
