Battlestar Galactica is a television series created in 2004 by Ronald D. Moore. Considered by many to be the best SF series ever made, it has left an indelible mark on cinema, and has made tremendous strides in transforming the once lukewarm attitude towards SF starting back in the early 2000s.
With Science Fiction as its compass these past twenty years, the morphing of the series illustrates such colosally-kaleidoscopic lines of thinking that anything even slightly worthy of comparison would come up humiliatingly short. An entanglement of politics, society, metaphysics and even religion fleshes out the series, instrumental in portraying the survival of Mankind.
