We’re not all that sure a super nanny could have avoided the issues borne by the young protagonists in this screening. Soul-searching (or -incriminating), getting answers or just even with a clock that keeps on ticking, leaving its irreversible and remorseless mark on us every step of the way… At times you’ll see kids running and screaming, doing any number of things to let off steam, but at what cost? You may even want to keep them from picturing and pulling off the worst-case scenario. We may as well lay it all out there: the best-case scenario is not always all that it’s cracked up to be! 

The big screen is there to demonstrate how fine a line there is between the madness of the reel and real madness. Rest assured, however; no children were harmed during the making of these films. Well, not to my knowledge, at least?
