Ahoy, mateys! You have embarked upon Court Métrange 2023, welcome aboard! As usual, the Métrangely Boat crew has skimmed and scoured ocean floors and sea-lings to offer you quite the animated port of call; we’re, of course, referring to the 100% Animation Screening! For the filmmakers in attendance to have surfaced all the way in our local waters, they will have had to not only keep their heads above water, but also prove that they are, swimmingly, head and shoulders above the rest. The breadth of specialty in their practices and techniques, their narrative ingenuity, and their realms without equal and label-proof have generated works that navigate 20,000 leagues from anything you’ve come across up to now. But have no fear… no one will be kept at bay… you’ll see, come squalls and skiffs, be not the quill that waver! No doubt about it, you are at Court Métrange.
